High impact --- zero injury techniques

Dondlinger & Sons project safety and health programs are built around the Construction Industry Institute's "High Impact Zero Injury Techniques." These include: selecting subcontractors based on their safety record, implementing for Dondlinger & Sons employees pre-employment drug and alcohol testing programs, conducting job Hazard Analysis on all major work operations, making on the spot corrections using the see it, say it, and fix it method, conducting detailed accident investigations, and seeing that employees are properly trained. A partial representative list of successful projects includes the following.

• The $18 Million High School in Goddard, Kansas was completed with "zero injuries."
• The Haysville, Kansas wastewater treatment plant was completed without a single injury.
• The addition to Saint Francis Hospital was completed in 2 ½ years keeping the hospital fully operational with no accidents or injuries involving our workers, the hospital staff, or the public.
• The Wichita Water Treatment Plant up grade, a $20 million plus job was completed without a loss time accident.
• The multi media security building was built with zero injuries.
• Both the Epic Center and Exploration Place were completed with accident rates that were at least 75% below the national average.
• The McPherson, Kansas transfer station was built with no accidents or injuries.
